Save the Children (London)
Product Owner & UX Consultant
A key member of the team during the brand’s Digital Transformation project, which included a website redesign and replatform
UX was new area for the charity: I championed UX principles and processes with the teams
Goals: Create a microsite for the Every Last Child campaign; increase donations and petition signatures
The goal of the Every Last Child campaign was to ensure that all children have access to education, health care - and a future.
One of my focuses was to highlight strong, positive images of children to increase engagement, signatures and donations.
This project consisted of a microsite featuring stories, petitions and donation forms. Persuasive elements like “Most people are donating £50 right now” and displaying live donations (location, amount) were used.
I worked with various teams to design clear user flows, inspiring copy and storytelling.
Other Projects
-
Donation User Journeys
I designed a clearer flow for Paypal, featuring an improved confirmation page where users can share their donation on social media.
-
Checkout Redesign
I created wireframes for the checkout redesign, based on user research and GA data. Goals: increase donations and opt-ins to GiftAid (a UK scheme wherein the charity receives an extra 25% added to your donation at no cost).

Kids' Club
Kids’ Club needed an overhaul: through research we discovered that the concept wasn’t clear. Plus, subscriptions were decreasing. I designed wireframes with the goal of clarifying the concept and making it an attractive gift. I led user research and testing to validate designs and messaging.
